Web Design
A great website is more than just a pretty face. It makes your brand shine, keeps your visitors engaged, and makes it easy for them to interact with you. A refreshed site can improve accessibility, simplify client interactions, and help your business grow.
Objective
Nth Cycle was transforming the future of sustainable metal refining, but its website failed to reflect that vision. Dense scientific language, a confusing information architecture, and an uninspiring visual design made groundbreaking technology feel inaccessible.
At a pivotal stage of growth, the company needed a digital experience that would resonate with both technical audiences and prospective investors - one that clearly communicated its innovation, market potential, and leadership in clean technology.
Gold, Best Sustainability Website
Silver, Best Website Redesign
Solution
I led a complete redesign of the Nth Cycle website, transforming it from a drab technical resource into a compelling brand experience.
The new site replaced dense, research-heavy pages with an editorial-style layout that combined bold visuals, vibrant color, and modular storytelling to make complex science approachable.
Clear navigation, simplified messaging, and engaging content blocks guided visitors through the technology, its environmental impact, and its commercial value - creating a website that was as innovative and forward-thinking as the company itself.
Worth noting: following the launch, the company announced a $44 million Series B and non-dilutive funding round to accelerate commercialization of its technology.
The project was also recognized with two Davey Awards: Gold for Best Sustainability Website, and Silver for Website Redesign.
Headquartered in Massachusetts, Nth Cycle is made up of ambitious, passionate, and experienced experts building the refining infrastructure for the next industrial era.

Objective
As a newly established financial services firm, Axcelus needed more than a website. It needed a digital presence that would immediately establish credibility.
With no existing web experience to build upon, the challenge was to create a sophisticated online identity that reflected the firm's expertise while inspiring confidence among high net worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors.
The site needed to communicate complex financial offerings with clarity, professionalism, and discretion while positioning Axcelus as a trusted partner in wealth management.
Silver, Best Financial Services Website
Solution
A brand new Axcelus Financial's website was designed from the ground up, creating a polished digital experience that balances exclusive sophistication with institutional credibility. A restrained visual palette, refined typography, and thoughtful use of white space convey trust, stability, and confidence, while an intuitive information architecture transforms complex financial services into clear, approachable stories.
Content was carefully organized to guide both private and institutional audiences through specialized offerings, including private placement insurance solutions, alternative investments, and tax efficient wealth strategies. Highly technical information was distilled into clear, accessible content without sacrificing authority.
The result is a confident, award winning digital identity that establishes Axcelus as a distinguished, forward thinking investment partner.
The project was recognized with a Davey Award Silver for Best Financial Services Website.

Objective
Aer Therapeutics had breakthrough science and a compelling mission, but virtually no visual identity. I was tasked with creating an entire digital brand and website from scratch that could communicate complex respiratory science, build credibility with investors, and inspire confidence in patients, partners, and the medical community. The challenge was to transform highly technical research into an approachable, engaging experience that reflected the company's vision of helping people breathe easier.
Solution
With virtually no existing creative assets, I built the Aer Therapeutics brand experience and website from scratch. A calming visual language of flowing curves and soft, organic forms was inspired by the rhythm of breathing, creating an immediate sense of ease while reinforcing the company's mission to restore healthy lung function.
Air-like gradients and fluid motion gave the site a modern, optimistic feel that stood apart from the sterile aesthetic common in biotech.
I also designed a series of custom medical illustrations that explained the science behind mucus plugs and Aer's novel therapeutic approach in a way that was both visually engaging and easy to understand. (A first for me! Putting the FUN in mucus plugs!)
The resulting website gave the company a distinctive visual identity that matched the ambition of its science and supported its growth as it advanced its clinical program and investor outreach.
Martin Enclosures
From concept to creation, this site got a complete overhaul.
The challenge was to transform a large, complex product portfolio into a clean, intuitive website that allows engineers, IT professionals, and purchasing teams to quickly find exactly what they need.
We developed a streamlined navigation system, clear product categorization, and a scalable information architecture that makes browsing dozens of product families and hundreds of configurations feel simple and efficient. The result is a modern user experience that reduces friction, highlights Martin's engineering expertise, and makes an otherwise overwhelming catalog easy to explore and understand.

Petauri
This was quite a challenge to transform an existing “brand presence” with very limited visual assets into a modern, engaging digital experience while staying true to the established identity (which was pretty rough!).
I led the redesign of the site, developing a cleaner, more intuitive user journey and a visual system that expanded the brand through custom-designed icons, graphics, and supporting elements. These custom assets helped communicate complex ideas in a simple, approachable way while creating consistency.
The result is a refreshed digital platform that feels more polished, cohesive, and user-focused while respecting the unique constraints of the existing brand.
The new experience better communicates Petauri’s value proposition, improves navigation, and creates a stronger connection with its audiences without relying on traditional medical photography.
