“Where Everybody Knows Your Name…”
When a customer lands on your website, it should feel like Norm walking into Cheers (yes, I’m dating myself with that reference).
Your site should greet people like a familiar place with open arms.
Something welcoming that immediately makes them think, “I belong here. This feels right.”
Even if your brand is high-end or exclusive, don’t let that turn into UX that feels cold, confusing, or overly guarded. Snobbery in design doesn’t read as premium. It reads as friction.
Because if a visitor lands on your site and can’t quickly understand who you are or what they’re supposed to do next, they’re gone.
Click.
Just like that.
This is the millionth website they’ve visited today. Give them a reason to stay and more importantly, a reason to come back again and again.
